Meet the team behind the events, exhibitions and trainings organised by TAATO.
We are a small team, open to dialogue and collaborations. Thanks to these our projects take shape. We continue to foster a network with our work, and believe that the artist is (should be) at the centre.
Reach out in case you need anything, or realise that something is missing in our programme. We are open to conversations and are always interested in hearing from you, whether it is a success story or a story of struggles.
Jessica Capra / jessica@theartistandtheothers.nl
Head of The Artist and the Others / Concept & Projects
Working across Europe, she has dedicated her career to developing projects that respond to real, lived needs within the art world. Her work is driven by a clear purpose: to create structures and opportunities that make a tangible, lasting difference in artists’ lives and the art world.
At the core of her practice are a few guiding principles: the generous sharing of knowledge, the building of meaningful connections, the strengthening of artistic and professional skills, and the fostering of collaborations that grow beyond the moment and create long-term value. These principles shape every initiative she develops.
Her commitment to empowering artists and cultural professionals led her to found The Artist and The Others, as well as the Summer Training for Emerging Artists — a programme widely recognised for supporting artists in gaining confidence, clarity, and professional direction at critical stages of their careers.
As a certified Fundamental Coach, she combines a clear, structured methodology with a warm, attentive, and motivating mentoring style. Her guidance is practical and encouraging, grounded in years of close listening to artists navigating precarity, transition, and growth.
Currently, her research focuses on parenting in the arts, contributing to the development of a more inclusive, fair, and sustainable cultural ecosystem. She has recently expanded her expertise in sustainable exhibition practices (NODE Center) and curating with care (University of Applied Arts Zurich), further strengthening her ability to support artists working within today’s evolving and often challenging cultural landscape.
