Love.
“I think I would choose for “love” as the word for my art, or as the word for my impulse to be an artist. Somehow it might sound as a cliché, but I love what I do, and I love life with all its up’s and down’s and I think “love for something” is what makes us aim for “more”, for inspiration, music, literature, films… Yes love is my incitement, in good times such as in bad times.”
Laura Heinen, is a young in love photographer who recently graduated from the ABKM academy in Maastricht. She carefully chose photography as ‘media’ to freeze stories and bring emotions to life.
Love ‘distorts’ us, as my grandpa was saying. We don’t know how we fell anymore; our emotions are increased and we have to face several moods in once. (Although this happens in girls at least once a month)
So Laura’s creations can be perceived in a very different ways in connection to our experience, moment and imagination.
