“If the entire Universe could fit in a shoebox, then how big would the world be? And how big would I be?”
During her residency at Villa Waldberta @artistinresidencemunich, Nathalie Brans @nathaliebrans researched the life and work of Caroline Herschel, connecting this to her own photographs of the Sun and the Moon.
She has been creating an extension of her ‘Sun and Moon diary’, a series of pictures of the Sun and the Moon – those ‘companions’ we take for granted, to use the artist’s own words.
This Riso Print has been realised by artist Nathalie Brans during her residency in Munich and it’s visible from the 14th until 17th of December, from 2-6 pm, at the Palmenhaus of Villa Waldberta, Feldafing – Munich as part of the Heavenly Bodies exhibition.
