‘The New Era’ (2019) is a collection of all the works by artist Anne Stijnen, made either during her residency in Japan & directly inspired by the time spent in this country.
“I tried to capture [the abundance of impressions] in unique works of art -photography and graphic design- during my stay in Tokyo. I see this project, developed organically in my studio at 3331 Arts Chiyoda in the vibrant Akihabara neighbourhood, as both an hommage to Japan, and a way of marking my personal journey and rite of passage as an artist”
