MUAS Weekend

Maastricht Unexpected Art Spaces is an occasional joint venture between six art spaces in Maastricht that want to bring art to public attention on a regular,
non-commercial basis.

During MUAS #4, every space will show work created by artists who have a strong link with this region.

Some live here, or have studied here. Others have moved away and/or live a roaming existence. For some of them, Maastricht is still only an infrequently visited part of their far-ranging habitat. Their work is still young and undiluted, or already up-and-coming. But surely professonial!

The MUAS Walk
In the weekend of Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October all the exhibitions will be open then and you will be invited to visit all of these unexpected spaces via a MUAS Walk. After that, the individual exhibitions will be open at different hours.

There will be a tour, on Saturday in Dutch and on Sunday in English. If you would like to join them, you can book your tickets here: JoinMuasTour

MUAS Collectable
All of the participating artists will create a special, limited-edition MUAS Collectable that will be offered for sale at a modest price of between €25 and €100 per object. The collectables will be available exclusively at MUAS #4. This is a lovely way to start, or add to, an art collection. But, above all, it provides stimulus and validation for the artists.

In our office we’re honored to have an exhibition by Kiki Goossen.
