What is Meet The Maker?
Meet the Maker is a networking and professional meeting for (young) designers, architects, performers and artists, where “makers” have the chance exhibit their work in a small exhibition and presented it to a group of experts and professionals from different fields – such as curators, writers, journalists, thinkers, collectors and policy makers.
The Makers from all over the Euregio will be able to present one of their designs or projects. Moreover, they have the opportunity to present it and dialogue about the questions that arise, which can be artistic, practical or aimed at the development of the oeuvre.
—
Meet the Maker also offers the opportunity to openly discuss the cultural climate and to inspire and encourage the young artistic talent from Maastricht and its surroundings during an informal lunch at Saturday, October 27th.
On Sunday, October 28th, the exhibition will be open for the public, which gives you the chance to show your work to a broad interested public.
This trans-disciplinary networking event will be organised by Bureau Europa and Artist and the Others in collaboration with the graphic design studio, Studio NOTO.
