Meet our twin hub, BIZkoshica Coworking with whom we have partnered for a one-year collaborative exchange project to connect our networks, artists and professionals.
BIZkoshnica is a beautiful co-working space in the centre of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, “a co-working space space with a soul, where all different kinds of people mingle in common areas.”
They support entrepreneurial development and social innovations by offering individualised co-working services in a modern, functional space. Their wish is to spread a positive spirit around entrepreneurship and the economy of sharing, as well as to provide support through education and consultations on project development and entrepreneurial skills, with the intention to develop innovative and successful stories and projects.
We interviewed Mirela Marović Omerzu, founder of BIZkoshnica, entrepreneur and project manager to find out more about the space. View the highlights here.
Mirela Marović Omerzu has a background in the field of ICT consultancy and in real estate. In recent years, she has been developing her own entrepreneurial projects, as well as developing and implementing EU-funded projects and programmes which specialise in SMEs and creative & cultural industries. She is a strong promoter of entrepreneurship and collaborative work, and often provides entrepreneurial trainings herself.
TWIN HUBS: Exchange Programme
BIZkoshnica Coworking and The Artist and the Others are paired as part of the TWIN HUBS Exchange Programme, launched by Creative FLIP, aimed at engaging peers from creative hubs across Europe for the establishment of sustainable and long-term partnerships.
TWIN HUBS is a blended mobility peer-to-peer programme for hubs based on the “sister cities” model. It foresees a matching of two hubs who commit to a one-year long cooperation and exchange programme, involving blended mobility – with a combination of online meetings, community exchange, and a classic P2P exchange programme between hub members.
