SUMMARY:Dealing with Uncertainty - Workshop
DESCRIPTION:with Amayah PelegrinLanguage: English ONLINEPrice*: 40 Euros for TAATO members / 55 Euros for non members \n\n\n\nIf you would like to attend but are currently facing financial difficulties\, write to us at hello@theartistandtheothers.nl \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDealing with uncertainty? An artistic and cultural career is one of the most rewarding paths you can choose. It is also one of the most uncertain. \n\n\n\nThe unpredictability of opportunities\, the budget cuts\, the pressure to constantly reinvent and prove yourself\, the competitions — these are not small things. For many artists and cultural professionals\, this uncertainty quietly accumulates over time\, showing up as anxiety\, self-doubt\, or the thought of quitting for a more financially sustainable career. Sometimes it leads to bigger questions: Am I on the right path? Can I keep doing this? Is this sustainable? \n\n\n\nThese feelings are real\, and they are far more common than we talk about. \n\n\n\nBut what if uncertainty didn’t have to feel like something to survive? What if we could learn to move through it with steadiness\, with clarity\, and even with confidence? \n\n\n\nThat is exactly what this workshop is about. \n\n\n\nOn July the 3rd\, we are joined by Amayah Pelegrin for a two-hour session designed specifically for artists. Together\, we will explore how to stop fighting uncertainty and start building an inner framework that helps you navigate the art world — and your career — on your own terms. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn this workshop\, we will cover:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy uncertainty is difficult\, and what our current experience of uncertainty is. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow to create space for the feelings that uncertainty provokes\, and healthy strategies for processing rather than avoiding them. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow to create a sense of inner safety and certainty\, even when external circumstances are uncertain. \n\n\n\n\n\nUncovering resources within us for how to approach uncertainty that works specifically for each one of you\, even if your approach is different. \n\n\n\n\n\nPractical steps and actions to take away. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorkshop Agenda\n\n\n\nThis agenda may evolve to be responsive to participant needs and to allow more or less time for exercises as required. \n\n\n\n10:00 · Welcome and overview of the workshop10:10 · Dealing with Uncertainty: Introductory Talk and Discussion10:25 · Feeling our way through uncertainty: Exercise and Discussion10:55 · Comfort Break11:00 · Shifting our approach from within: Exercise11:20 · Islands of Certainty — focusing on what we can control: Exercise11:40 · Debrief and Closing12:00 · End \n\n\n\nAbout Amayah Pelegrin\n\n\n\nAmayah Pelegrin is a certified Executive Coach (ILM Level 7)\, facilitator and researcher working at the intersection of culture\, leadership and systems change. \n\n\n\nFor over 15 years\, she has designed leadership programmes\, facilitated organisational development processes and coached leaders across the cultural\, creative\, social and research sectors. Her work focuses on helping individuals and organisations navigate complexity\, strengthen collective capacity to create change and shape cultures in which people can thrive. She is an expert in creativity\, climate leadership\, and regenerative systems change.  \n\n\n\nShe has a particular focus on supporting women’s leadership\, hosting retreats and designing development programmes for women\, and coaching individuals navigating leadership roles\, motherhood\, life transitions and experiences of institutional or systemic challenge. She is passionate about creating structures designed around caretaking needs\, women’s well-being\, and supporting women to build confidence and use their voices to advocate for change.  \n\n\n\nAlongside her coaching and facilitation practice\, Amayah researches the role of art and creativity in systems change\, and the relationship between emotional consciousness and leadership. She has published papers and resources on these topics\, such as the THRIVE cards for emotionally conscious leadership\, available on her website www.thefieldco.org.   \n\n\n\nAt the heart of her work is a commitment to redefining leadership to be fit for the challenges of the 21st century\, and collectively creating more regenerative ways of working and living together.
