WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE LAYING IN THE EUREGIO?
Which galleries, artistic residency, design initiatives, institutions, museums, curators, but also alternative exhibition spaces, theatre, fab labs, creative hubs, music venues, performing scenes, exist in the Euregio? How to develop a project in a city of the Euregio and who to contact? How can I develop my projects? Are you looking for answers?
Well, take the chance to speed date with leading creative professionals living and working in the Euregio. A fantastic chance to not only meet them, but have instant advice and be immediately connected or addressed to the right person. The Euregional speed-dates are the perfect chance for sharing your ideas, projects, needs and dreams to an interdisciplinary group of experts.
WHO DID WE INVITE?
The so-called CHE Agents, cultural professionals, from different fields, connected, living and working within the cultural/design/ political scene of their city. CHE stands for Creative Hub Euregio, a trans-regional and cross-border network of creative within the EMR.

PATRICIA YASMINE GRAF
Patricia Yasmine Graf is a freelance product and jewellery designer from Aachen, Germany. In 2005, she founded her own brand PYG® Bags. Furniture. Accessories, with a worldwide distribution network. In 2006 Patricia founded the euregional creative network Designmetropoleaachen with the goal to make Aachen magnetic! To build awareness within the local population and industry and politics that there is a strong and not-to-be-ignored design potential in the region! Since 2011, she has had various university teaching assignments for design and engineering courses at the University of Applied Sciences, Aachen. Patricia Yasmine Graf is one of three founders and visionaries of HOTEL TOTAL – a creative and social concept and network conversion research project, which was part of the program CreateMedia.NRW in 2016.

FABIAN SEIBERT
Fabian Seibert, is renowned for his product design label SÜLZKOTLETT. He is also half of GRAF SEIBERT, a conceptual furniture art project with psychological issues. Fabian teaches at universities, and develops product and service strategies for companies, guerrilla marketing and social design concepts for cities such as Aachen and Moscow and he is co-founder of DESIGNMETROPOLE AACHEN, a network of creative heads. Since 2019 Fabian is entering the fashion world with his MLFMona & Jane latex fashion label in coop with his friend Daniel Wergen / makinglatexfashion. And a great tip: In the months of January and September 2021 the Aachen association hello creator e.V. conducts HELLO CREATOR FESTIVAL, an exciting de-central design & networking festival in the Maastricht-Heerlen-Aachen-Eupen-Liège-Genk-Hasselt area that you should definitely participate in.

CITY OF EUPEN:
BENJAMIN FLEIG
Benjamin Fleig, defined himself as an ex artists, whoo started his career as camera operator in Babelsberg doing eurotrash in film and TV business. After this experience he change his genre to documentary (still doing this as an old flame never dies). And following his passion became an media artist. He also set up and manage PAN kunstforum niederrhein. Developed and realised international art-projects as a freelance curator for museums, galleries, art festivals, cultural associations. Docent for media education, gallery owner and art consultant & Creative Hub Euregio for Eupen.

CITY OF LIÈGE:
JULIE HANIQUE
Belgian art historian Julie Hanique has worked as a cultural manager in Liege (Belgium) for nearly two decades with a specificconcern on contemporary visual arts and architecture. As part of the artistic team for the application of Maastricht to the title of Cultural Capital of Europe in 2018, she was aware by the cross-borders collaborations. That’s an aspect that she’s still developing in the international project of SPACE Collection and in the Creative Hub Euregio network. Currently, she manages the team of Comptoir des Ressources Créatives, a platform of tools for and by the creators.

CLAIRE HENNEN
Claire Hennen has a communication degree.
In 2015, she created her brand Badjawe which offers a range of graphic products celebrating Walloon expressions. In 2017, a French publisher adapts her products with French expressions and distribute them all around France and Belgium.
In 2019, Claire creates, with others creators from Verviers, a Comptoir des Ressources Créatives to assist and help creators become more professional. Since 10 years she also organises a national artisan contest: la Vitrine de l’Artisan.

MYRIAM MORAY
Myriam Moray studied illustration at the « École Supérieure des Arts de la Ville de Liège ». She then got her teaching degree and taught for few years. She now works as a freelancing illustrator. Myriam helped creating the « Comptoir des Ressources Créatives » antenna in Verviers which is currently focusing on listening to the creators needs and help them become more professional.

CITY OF HASSELT & GENK:
PABLO HANNON
Pablo Hannon is a multidisciplinary designer and artist connecting his creative practice (Hectica) with a desire to collaborate , an urge to share (PXL-MAD Hasselt, ZUYD Maastricht, LUCA Genk) and to do good to society.
The School uses interdisciplinary and intercultural, creative collaborations to approach and address urban challenges.Projectshave always been participative, and experimental, happening in Aachen, Brussels, Liège, Milan, Tongeren and in basecamp Hasselt.
Recently The School has activated a former industrial training space in Hasselt and baptised it as Maison Florida, a large space to develop creative experiments into atypical crazy plans and projects. The School always searches for a relation between people, space and means or opportunity, urgency and drive. In Maison Florida, Pablo Hannon (Mapuchehue) forms team with Ilse Jooken (Klub Kitch), Mirthe Tibos (++ Gallery) and Stef Lemmens (Oebjet Troevée). They curate and initiate Playground for the Wild among other projects.

CITY OF MAASTRICHT:
JOEP VOSSEBELD
Director Oda Park Museum Venlo, B32 Artspace & freelance curator.
Joep Vossebeld is dutch artist and curator who during the past years- has organised and curated twenty exhibitions and five performance festivals. Many of Joep’s projects arise through collaborations with contemporary artists, writers and musicians. Since 2011 he has, for example, been working with Charlotte Lagro and Chaim van Luit under the name Studio Oneindigheid (Studio Infinity). Since 2014 he is active in the artists’ initiative B32 in Maastricht where he works as a curator. In 2019 he collaborated with the curator Paula van den Bosch and curated an exhibition about Ine Schröder at the Bonnefantenmuseum Maastricht. Within the Euregio he is Agent for Creative Hub Euregio (CHE), chairman of The Artist And The Others and member of the selection committee of Space Collection.

JESSICA CAPRA
Jessica Capra has been working since 2013 as a cultural manager and concept developer for cultural projects in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. She initiates and develops cultural projects based on needs, created to make a change. She works for and with artists and cultural practitioners. The idea pillar of every project she develops is based on promoting shared knowledge, connecting people, improving their skills and building new collaborations that add value to the current cultural situation. Her passion to motivate, empower and advise others, especially young cultural practitioners and artists, led her to develop The Artist and The Others. She co-curates the Training the senses series for Marres and she is a coach for presentation skills specifically for artists and cultural professionals. She is the supportive CHE agent for Maastricht and she lives between Maastricht & Munich.
