ART Lab Milano
June 22, 2017 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
On the 22sd of June, we’ll be in Milan talking about our role and experience as Creative Hub in the city of Maastricht as part of the Art Lab program organised at BASE in Milan.
We’ll take part in the discussion European creative hubs: revitalising our cities
By Base Milano and British Council
Creative Hubs are platforms or workplaces for all creatives in, or open to engagement with the creative industries and the broader creative sector. Creative Hubs have come to be recognized as drivers of growth for the creative industries and catalysts for cross-sectorial innovation whose impact resonates far beyond any narrow sectorial confines or physical boundaries of space. They are uniquely placed to spark discussion, foster collaboration and generate distinctive practices, offering much-needed exhibition, performance and work spaces. This panel aims to draw lessons learned and identify European best practices on the impact of hubs on urban communities through architectural regeneration, social cohesion, socio-economic growth and creativity.
