Common Knowledge starts spring with the Perfect Pitch. Gain the skills to present yourself, your project and your ideas during CK#7 on March 26 at Brusselsestraat 84, Maastricht.
CK#7 starts with a workshop in the morning on presentation. Daan Wierenga (Coach&Co) will focus on the pivotal elements of a perfect appearance and delivery such as voice, melody, body language and content. You implement everything immediately by presenting yourself or by giving feedback to your peers. The workshop gives you all the skills and must-have knowledge to effectively pitch yourself.
Skills you can immediately put to use in the evening during the personal talks with experts from the cultural field. Bring along your portfolio, if you feel like, and be ready to share your ideas and projects to get the best feedback. Missed the morning workshop? Daan Wierenga is there to introduce the experts and give her tips and tricks for a great pitch. Afterwards you get the chance to talk with the different experts one-on-one.

Thierry van Biesen | Thierry van Biesen |
photographer
“I am a creative artist who uses photography and animation to express my vibrant uplifting and optimistic views on life. Born and raised in Lebanon to a Belgian father and a Lebanese/Egyptian mother, I integrate both cultures in my work and have developed a need for colors, energy and movement in my imagery that translates very well into my vision of motion. I always strive to have a different angle on the visual representation of ideas. My work has been published in several magazines and newspaper such as Tank, Elle Japan, Figaro Madame, Cosmo, Zink, Marie-Claire, New York Time and Le Monde.” For more info visit Thierry’s website!

With a solid background in art history, architecture and marketing, currently I am more focussed on gallery side within the contemporary art field. In the last 5 years I enriched my experience in PR, events and hospitality business.
