Common Knowledge #20 Pitch & Party

It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else. – Erma Bombeck

For the final edition of Common Knowledge before the summer, after travelling through the all Euregio, we are back to Maastricht!
During this special evening, cultural professionals for the Euregion, present their project in front of you, and a jury.

Young product designer Alexander Claessen invite us to discover CONNECT.

“Connecting makes us feel comfortable.
My designs are not glued together but their parts literally support eachother.
I deliberately chose to share a working space with a fashion designer.
With a purpose, together in Limburg.”

Iwona Lisiecka, presents her project SERA which reflects her concern about the conditions of animals waiting for an owner in shelters and proposing us a designed and effective solution.

Marco Iannicelli, designer from Aachen, includes us in his daily reflection upon the process of making between sustainability & luxury stuff.

Matthieu Litt, from Liège share the results from his amazing travel, that he collected in the project ON HORSE WITH NO NAME
“It’s a state between awareness and imaginary, between the quest and the feeling of already knowing these spaces where the environment forges the people, where the borders are as entangled as the mountain ranges that define them.”

Edward van Kempen introduces his MultiMediaMobile: a project that reflects and embeds the multi disciplinary needs of the contemporary freelance and society.

Marie van Vollenhoven takes us into a visual journey into INFINITY; a theatre performance that embraces cutting edge technology, philosophy, science and art.

And last but not least, the Full Stack Collective, talk about an alternative scenario for contemporary creative entrepreneurs.

You are all invited to come and share your knowledge in order to support, advise or connect the young creative in order to enhance or boost their project.

Afterwards you are free to join us for we- wish – you – a – good – summer – party, and see you back in September!

We start at 20:00 at Ipanema.
