Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Manor, I’m originally from Germany. I am the oldest of three children. I studied at the Academy of Fine arts in Maastricht, where I graduated two years ago. While finishing my art studies, I realized that I am also interested in Law.
I actually thought to quit the artistic studies, but then, I wisely finished them first, and then I also managed to complete the law-studies.
Currently I am working on several projects that have photography as main subject. Since three months I am also setting up of an on-line shops with some friends. Now we reach the time where we’re talking with investors. So it’s getting exciting!

What will you consider your distinctive achievement?
On a personal level, than ten years ago I married my girlfriend.

Professionally, I am very happy with the qualitative level I’ve reached by working with photography for 2 years now. I am also curious to see how it will improve in the future.

What are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to the upcoming challenges, that hopefully, will be rewarded with a small success every time, in order to building up a solid and happy career.

Which advice would you give to the young professionals?
If what you are doing is not making you happy, change it!

What are the challenges that we need to overcome to make ‘cultural entrepreneurship’ more accessible?
If I have to give an easy answer, I thing it’s important to have a more ‘entrepreneurial’ education in schools. To promote sensibilities in the children and stimulate them in trying to realize their ideas. In this way when they will grow up they are already familiar with the idea of creating something that comes from them.
